Broadly speaking, the Spatial Framework promotes medium-rise buildings (5-8 storeys) within Temple Quarter. However, buildings of a lower height are promoted immediately adjacent to the station complex, within the historic core to the Silverthorne Lane area and along parts of Bath Road. A number of potential locations have been identified for tall buildings (9+storeys) taking advantage of the areas location within walking distance to a mainline train station. These are positioned to help visitors find key destinations, in locations considered to not have a detrimental impact on key views.
